Reupholstery
(read)
In need of someone who knows how or is willing to teach me how to reupholster a lounge chair that I own...not willing to pay the EXTREMELY high price that professional upholsters' charge, and can't find any community education classes that teach this trade...

staple gun
It's difficult to advise without a photo, does the fabric cover the entire chair like a La-z-boy recliner? A lot of home furniture is made of simple wood frames and wrapped/stuffed/stapled coverings. I recommend taking the current fabric off very carefully, and making notes of how it was wrapped. Then get yourself a staple gun and start reupholstering! While you're at it, maybe insert some extra padding (actually, the term is "batting"). You can buy cheap batting at Wal-Mart or Michael's.
