How does OnTheSide.com protect my confidential information? OnTheSide.com does not reveal your contact information if you wish to keep it private. Initial contact between a service seeker and a service provider is done through an online form. When you register as a service provider with OnTheSide.com, we ask for your email address and a screen name. Your email address is not shown to the public unless you wish to show it. It's also up to you if you choose to display your full name or other contact information. This information is only made public to other OnTheSide.com members who have signed into OnTheSide.com. For more information, please read our privacy policy. 3. How does OnTheSide.com make money? In the future, OnTheSide.com will offer optional features to service providers for a small price. Additionally, we may include paid advertising from select sponsors on the OnTheSide.com site. 4. What features are included when I set up an account as a buyer? As a registered OnTheSide.com member, you can contact other members to request their services, create a group of favorite service providers, keep track of the status of your requests, post feedback and ratings of your service providers, participate in discussion groups, and offer your services online if you choose. 5. Can I advertise on OnTheSide.com? We currently do not advertise on OnTheSide.com. If you are interested in advertising in the future, please contact us. 6. How do I sign up? In order to sign up to use OnTheSide.com, simply click on 'Register' at the top of the page, and fill out a short form. You may choose to create your full profile, adding services you offer, a short bio, a picture and avatar, credentials, and you're ready to go! 7. Is it true that I can post a profile or search for service providers for free? Using OnTheSide.com is absolutely free. You can post your profile to offer your service, search for other service providers, request services, and receive service provider contact information at no cost. You are under no obligation to hire a service provider who may respond to your request through OnTheSide.com.
