Do I have to create an account to contact a service provider?
In order to contact a service provider, you must create a "buyer" profile. This helps OnTheSide.com insure that service provider inquiries are legitimate. You may choose how the service provider can contact you: by phone or by email. Only the service providers you wish to contact will see this information.

What if I receive no results in my service provider search?
If you receive limited or no results in a search inquiry, try to use less specific search criteria or use our Advanced Search option to search by category and subcategory of services offered. Our home page also displays our most popular searches.

How are service providers listed in the search results?
In your search results, ranking of service providers is by distance from your entered zip code, by user rating, and by number of completed service requests through OnTheSide.com. You may also use our Advanced Search option to choose which search criteria is most important to you: nearest providers, highest rated, or most OnTheSide.com job experience.

How do I search for service providers?
